wrights pies offer a great range of pies and pasties and don't forget the cakes.
the food is lovely but i think that there famous meat and potato pie is not as nice as it used to be.

locally made pies. Loads of different varieties, and can be served cold to reheat, or hot.
There are also cakes which are all freshly made. Bread can be bought by the loaf, and is delicious, but its the pies that has people coming back again and again.
The pastry is always thick enough to make the pie 'safe' enough to eat without getting scalding hot gravy all down your hands and face!
very highly recommended, except once you've had a wright pie, no others taste quite the same. -

excellent bakers, also make fresh sandwiches and pies. Located right next to the university, can be difficult to park though sometimes, especially at peak times.
